What to Expect

Welcome to Christ Presbyterian Church! As you enter our building on Sunday morning, you will be greeted at the door and given a bulletin with the Order of Worship and several announcements. You may also pick up a visitor’s information brochure from a table at either of the main foyers. We have two nurseries available – Infants and Crawlers Room 102 (birth – 23 months) and Toddlers (2–3 years) Room 101. (Click here for more information on our church nurseries) At age 4, children join their parents in worship and are invited to attend Wee Worship following the offertory, a service modeled after the adult worship service but age appropriate. Wee Worship does not meet on the first Sunday of the month so all of our leaders can participate in the Celebration of the Lord’s Supper. (click here for more information on Wee Worship)

Fellowship and Welcoming of Guests begins at 10:00 – 10:30 am. This is a time for our members, regular visitors and guests to mingle and greet each other over a cup of coffee.  Two coffee bars are located in the back of the sanctuary.  At the beginning of morning announcements, the coffee is removed from the sanctuary.

Announcements begin at 10:30am and worship follows. We celebrate communion together on the first Sunday of every month. Our worship service follows a traditional Reformed liturgy including a call to worship, invocation, confession of sin, assurance of pardon, intercessory prayer, preaching of the Word, and concludes with a benediction. Our music is a blend of traditional hymns and contemporary songs of praise.

Will I be contacted after I visit? We would love to follow up with you and answer any questions you might have but we want to respect you as you process what you’ve seen and heard as well as be sensitive to your personal schedule.  If you would like to be contacted, please let us know by checking “desire a call” on the friendship pads which are passed during the offering, and also give us a number where you may be reached.

Sunday School

9:15 -10:00 am
The purpose of our adult Sunday school classes at Christ Presbyterian Church is to provide Christ centered, Biblically based, and theologically informed instruction and discussion toward the goal of the growth of each individual in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ.

College students are welcome to attend either one of the adult classes!
