Service Opportunities

Serving others is part of the DNA of the Youth Ministry here at CPC. In a world that promotes being “out for #1” and heralds the message of “Take, Take, Take!” as children of God, we want to run counter to this culture and be a voice that says “Give, Give, Give”. Our goal is to provide a minimum of one service opportunity per month for students to use their time and energy serving someone else. In doing so, we spread the love of Christ as His hands and feet on the earth.

“Christ has no body now on earth but yours,
no hands but yours, no feet but yours,

Yours are the eyes through which to look out Christ’s compassion to the world
Yours are the feet with which he is to go about doing good;
Yours are the hands with which he is to bless men now.”
― Teresa of Ávila (1515–1582)
