Noemie Higginson
Noemie Higginson has been working with the CPC nursery since August 2004. Born in Portugal, she moved to France with her family when she was 11 years old. She came to the United States at the age of 21, married, and now has two grown daughters, Jessica and Natasha. In addition to her work at Christ Presbyterian, Noemie enjoys tutoring French to all ages, and her favorite hobbies include cooking, cross-stitching, walking, and reading. When asked about her service with the children of our church, Noemie remarked, “Children are my life.” She loves to teach them, from infancy onward, hoping to make a difference in the life of every little one she has the privilege of encountering.
Laura Richards
Laura Richards joined the CPC nursery staff in February 2007 after moving to the area from Sarasota, Florida. She has a son, Matthew, who is in junior high. In the past, she worked in the radio industry in an administrative role. A lover of travel, Laura’s favorite destinations include Bermuda, Jamaica, the Cayman Islands, Cozumel, and Lake Tahoe. She likes completing home improvement projects in her spare time and has experience with painting, tiling, wallpapering, and installing wood floors. In her work with the church nursery, Laura enjoys watching the children grow and mature while they are in her classroom and observing their genuine excitement over the simple aspects of life.
