A New Song
Have you ever had a song get stuck in your head? You know the one that plays over and over in your mind no matter what you else you try to think about. I won’t give examples for fear it will happen to you now!
There is a sentence, however, that often affects me in a similar way. It gets “stuck” in my head usually late at night as I stew over the events of a day that included conflict with someone. God is gracious to remind me of this sentence I first heard at a Peacemaker’s conference. “As people reconciled to God…we are called to respond to conflict in a way remarkably different from the way the world deals with conflict.” Post continued…..
